These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the mapifast / mapifast web application, browser extensions (including mapifast Lens), and APIs (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account, installing the extension, or using the Service you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
mapifast generates mindmaps, research, and quizzes from third-party content (e.g. YouTube videos) using AI models. Output is generated by language models and may be inaccurate or incomplete. Always verify against authoritative sources before relying on the output.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 13 years old.
- You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure.
- One person or legal entity per account.
3. Acceptable use
You may not use the Service to:
- Process content you do not have the right to process.
- Generate content that is illegal, harmful, hateful, sexually explicit involving minors, or that infringes intellectual property.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or rate-limit-evade our APIs.
- Resell or sublicense the Service without a written agreement.

4. Tokens, billing, and refunds
- Tokens are consumed when you generate mindmaps, run research, or grade quizzes. The exact cost is shown at request time.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the start of each period and can be cancelled any time from Settings → Billing.
- One-shot 100-token packs are non-refundable once consumed.
- Failed payments: Razorpay retries automatically per its smart-retry policy; if unresolved within 7 days of the grace window the subscription is downgraded to the free tier.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of the YouTube URLs, prompts, notes, and exports you submit. You grant mapifast a non-exclusive license to host, process, and display your content solely to operate the Service. We do not use your content to train models.
6. AI output
AI output is generated for you on demand. To the extent the law permits, you own the rights in the output that we have to give. You are responsible for ensuring the output is appropriate for your use case before relying on it.
7. Service availability
We aim for high availability but the Service is provided “as is” without uptime SLAs unless you have a separate written agreement.
8. Termination
You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or the Community Guidelines, with notice where practical.
9. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the greater of (a) USD 100, or (b) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which mapifast’s operating entity is registered, without regard to conflict of laws principles.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes are announced 14 days in advance via email and an in-app banner.
